Thomas, 12 at the time, was living at his mother's house. But he wasn't the best example of a good son. With the occasional small thievery and no respect for the law, he was quite the handfull. Although it wasn't until Thomas started to steal from his mother, that he got kicked out of his house, and needed to take care of his own in the outside world, with no steady place to live. In order to provide for himself, the thievery didn't stop, and only got worse. It changed to masked robbery at ATMs, local shops, you name it. Thomas' behavior didn't go unnoticed though, the local gang operating in the same neighborhood got eyes on Thomas, looking into the actions that he did. It was then that Thomas got in contact with the gang, and they actually took him in as a valuable asset Growing into the gang, they learned Thomas different areas of criminal activity. One of them was also the pimping business, since the gang was the only active gang in the neighborhood, the competition was low, and thus they were free with the hooker business. By the age of 17, Thomas already had risen up in ranks in the gang, controlling a few blocks with hookers under him. The gang however, was also occupied with something more serious, assassinations. An area close by the neighborhood was filled with high-class and wealthy people, and the gang sure planned on filling their treasury chest by giving them a visit. Thomas by then was 19 years old, having spent the last 2 years on improving his marksmanship, and participating in shootings against other, low class, rivaling gangs. Due to his successfulness, Thomas got a lot of respect in the gang, and even received 5 members under his command. That was also the time that Thomas and his crew were assigned to the heavy duty, the rich folks area. Since the people there knew about the active gang activity near, they guarded their places with trained guards and personal bodyguards. However, as fearless as Thomas is, and with his experience and naturally his experienced crew, they managed to do serious damage against the wealthy. Guards dropping like powerless flies, the crew was able to gain access to the wealthy and rich, claiming their stuff, and filling their own pockets. Life was good for Thomas. When Thomas was 20, he started to hear news coming from his far family in NY. News was about his aunt, who started up a new business called Azzurro Inc.. Family has always ran deep into the blood of Thomas, and even though he was very successful in his gang, he still wanted to be of assistance to his family. That was the moment that Thomas decided to give his most loyal and trusted underling charge of his business in the neighborhood, and started to head out towards NY. Towards a new life.

When you're feeling unloved and unwanted, I will be here to tell you how very important you are.

Everybody wants to be good, but not many are prepared to make the sacrifices it takes to be great. To many people, being nice in order to be liked is more important. There's equal merit in that, but you must not confuse being good with being liked.
